Product Description
The UMI Performance, Inc. reinforcing front frame brace is designed to stiffen the front frame horns and front crossmember area on the GM G-body platform. It replaces the popular “Grand Prix Bar” and stock frame reinforcements without the need for drilling. Grade 8 hardware is included with the brace, which weighs less than 10lbs. It is versatile for street, strip, auto-x, or road racing applications. Available in red or black powder coat, the UMI P/N 3053 is proudly made in Philipsburg, PA, USA and used on the G-Body Green Machine.
Fitment Note: Not currently approved for the Grand National platform with intercooler. Some occasional grinding may be necessary due to GM G-body product tolerances, although it was not required in UMI's testing on five different cars of various years.
